How does Lumbarease work?

The intention of the inflatable Lumbar Support is to apply gentle pressure to the spinal disc region of the lower back to aid comfort and therapeutic support.

Lumbarease diagram

With the chambers (A) “deflated”, position the chambered pad centrally, but directly to the affected area ensuring that the inflation tubes/valves (B) are on the outside. Pull the belt around the waist as tightly as possible (without being uncomfortable) and secure
via the velcro fasteners (C).

With the hand pump (D) supplied, locate the “clear” nozzle end (X) to the tube valve (B) and push in. Inflate the chamber to the desired pressure and repeat for the other two chambers. If the chambers feel over pressure for comfort, then turning the hand pump around so that the “black” nozzle end (Y) is inserted into the tube valve,
will deflate the chamber by its pump action.

Re inflate the chamber(s) to the preferred pressure.

The support can be worn over light clothing or next to the skin. Though directly next to skin may induce some local perspiration, therefore a light cotton barrier material (such as a vest) maybe advisable to be located between the skin and support to help prevent this.
